ACTUALLY ... this technology COULD HAPPEN, because: - electrodes in the brain have been done for a long time ... for Parkinson patients ("brain pacemaker to suppress the shakes") - a british professor implanted a chip into his own forearm - "project cyborg" - to control a robotic arm - roughly 15+ years ago there was a "replacement for the mouse" that works by reading brain waves ... it was working badly, but "people are working on it"

The movie is also a HISTORIC DOCUMENT, because it shows the Statue of Liberty in its restoration "costume".

This popped up on Tubi and my gf was like “why are you so pumped on this?!!” And we watched it together and by she end she said “Wait…is there gonna be a sequel??!!!!” And it was the same reaction I had…absolute treasure this movie!

I abso-floggin-lutely LOVE this movie. I have lost track of how many times I have seen it. Even if I didn't catch the whole movie from start to finish, anytime I saw it was on HBO as a kid, or cable TV as I got older, I watched it from wherever I came in. An incredible cast, an interesting and unique story, great writing, great dialect, and plenty of humor. Awesome pick!

I skipped school with a few friends in year 7, it was a Tuesday half price movies so we went to the cinema and this was on. We had no idea what it was but I still remember it til this day. Chun was an absolute legend, I'll never forget his running technique across the water and dodging bullets!

Such a good movie. Fan of the books its based on and I think the movie mostly gets it right, over the top martial arts action. Sucks this was a one off. There have been rumors of a Shane Black led reboot, Shane Black having worked with the book author on Lethal Weapons 2, but I think that long since died unfortunately.

First informals I would’ve gave this movie at five out of 10 six is definitely that low and number two a movie has a horrible story. How can it be perfectly written? Shouldn’t that make the writing shit if the story is shit?

🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣 This movie always gives me a laugh. "Chun, you're incredible!" "No..... I am better than that." The one liners were quoted a bunch in my house when I was growing up. Along with The Last Dragon. Also for a fun cheezy movie, also pretty quotable, try "Firewalker" (1986) starring Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr.

He didn’t even mention the joke that they cared so little while creating his secret identity that REMO WILLIAMS was the name of some paint and a the brand of bed pan the guy entering his details saw first 😂

I read so many of the Remo Williams books as a young adult. Halfway between comic books and James Bond lives Remo Williams!

Fun fact in the novelization the tooth diamond was from a woman's, that guy killed her, engagementring. Yes there was a novelization of this film that was different than the novel series this was based on. I read about five of the later novels, and they are a lot weirder than this movie. Oh and I saw this in the theater when it came out, more than once.

The accent is terrible. Doesn't sound Korean at all 😂😂😂 Never watched this movie before.
